Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for change of mind but will happily offer a store credit within 3 days of the knife/product being received. This store credit doesn’t expire and can be used to purchase another product(s) at the time of your choosing. Any longer than 3 days and unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or store credit. If you have a warranty/defect concern, please get in touch via admin@pandayanblades.com and we will make sure the matter is looked into.

As our knives are handcrafted, there may be slight differences between each knife. This is a unique feature and something that we love about our products. As batches vary, knives may come with a ‘factory sharpen,’ which means the knife is still usable but allows the customer to sharpen the knife to an angle that is preferable to them. Due to this being the nature of our products, we can offer an exchange or store credit but are unable to offer a refund if your item has a slight difference from what is pictured/described.

If your knife is chipped or ‘broken’ after use, we can assist you with the repair. Please note any major damage may incur a fee; we just ask that you cover the cost of shipping. If you would like your knife repaired or for further advice/information, please contact us via admin@pandayanblades.com.

Please note that some of our knives require special care and maintenance, especially any high-carbon knives that are not stainless. While we do our absolute best to ensure you are aware of the care required for these knives (product descriptions prior to purchase, care instructions provided with every purchase), we are not responsible for any damage occurring to your knife due to failure to adhere to these care instructions. Pandayan WILL NOT, under any circumstances, offer a refund, exchange, or store credit for carbon steel knives that have a patina or have developed rust.

Cancellations

Processing your order usually takes 1-2 business days after the order has been placed on our website. If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us via admin@pandayanblades.com so we can arrange this for you.

If you would like to cancel your order BEFORE it has been shipped, we will refund the full cost of the item minus a 5% payment processing fee. If you would like to cancel your order AFTER it has been shipped, you must return the item to us and we will refund the full cost of the item(s), minus a 5% payment processing fee; please note shipping fees are non-refundable. Please see below “Shipping of returns” for further information.

Refunds

Once we have received your refund item(s), please give us 1-2 business days to confirm and inspect the item(s) and either approve or reject your claim. If approved, we will arrange a refund to your original method of payment minus a 5% payment processing fee; please note shipping fees are non-refundable.

Shipping of returns

It is best for you to get in touch with us at admin@pandayanblades.com to arrange the return of any items. As we are a small business, you will be asked to pay a return shipping fee if you are choosing to return the item (e.g., order cancellation or change of mind). Thank you for your understanding. We will provide the return shipping address to you in this instance.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the items are warranty claims or damaged by the freight company.
